The second important factor SEM is off the page and these factors are more important than anything else when it comes to search engine marketing. Off page factors are generally reduced to the link. Get other sites to link to your website is the most important part of search engine marketing, and is what should be focused 90% of your effort. Keyword research falls into this category too, because the keywords you choose should be placed in the anchor text of links pointing to your site.
