WordPress is a fast, here I will share about wordpress guides for the beginner. This article will not teach you how to create your entire site, but it is a good reminder of the simple steps everyone should start when they begin your journey of WordPress.

1. Installing WordPress: This is pretty self-explanatory. The first step should be to install WordPress on your host. WordPress has a great guide for how this should not delay. Some webhosts also has something called Fantastico, if your hosts doe, s are in luck! Fantastico will install WordPress for you automatically.

2. Log in to your new site: Again self explanatory. How often have access to my WordPress site is the addition / wp-admin after my domain name in the web browser address bar.

3. Make sure your e-mail addresses are defined: This is important because this is where you will receive updates and password if you never lost. There are two places to make sure your password is set. The first is in Settings-> General. The other point that is in your user menu – you’ll want to make sure your admin email is correct.

4. Move your permalinks: I recommend it to all customers. In the Setup menu (wordpress administrator) there is section for Permalinks. Open the menu and choose your new style of permalinks. Towards the end of the clean URL structure suggest select Custom and enter the following sequence: /%postname%/.This will make the title of your message is the web address.

5. Add your title and slogan: Under General Settings again add the name and theme of your blog. The name is what you want – keyword rich is better. The slogan is a description of your site.

6. Choose a theme: If you use a theme (that) you can find a wide selection of WordPress use their own back office. Just browse Appearance-> Themes and then use the tools we have to find a theme. Once you find one to your liking download and activate it.

7. Installing plugins: Any plugins you want to add, do so now. The plugins are very flexible so you can add more later if you discover that you need. Install the plugins you think you need. I suggest you are definitely All-in-One SEO and Google XML Sitemaps. They will help with both the SEO and each has great support that you need to know more. I would also suggest Askimet but it is already installed.

8. Enable askiment: I think you should do as soon as possible. Askimet is a great spam blocking plugin ensures that your site is full of comment spam. Once you start adding content, you will notice the top of spam. Askimet has a huge database of spam comments so you usually can detect and block any in place. If he makes a mistake, then you can manually replace a particular comment and you’ll really learn from this. The only exception to this is that you have to get a WordPress API key. To obtain the API key must register for a free account at wordpress.com. No big deal, but an additional step that you may not be aware.

9. Check your privacy: In the Settings menu is a position of Privacy. Click on it and see if the blog is visible to everyone. If not, Google will not index any of its contents!

10. Add information: Apparently, there will be a Widgets menu. You can use this functionality to add to your site using WordPress sidebars. If you have chosen a theme widget ready (mostly), have one or two sides (or more) in place. In the menu on the sidebar widgets appear and you can drag and drop “widgets” for him. These widgets can be things like a search bar, an archive, a calendar, a list of recent posts or text / html table can put something there, even more than that available widgets. There are also standards for discharge if they do not all you need.

11. Create content: now you can create some content! You can add pictures, photo galleries, etc. .. on page one can also start making posts – remember to create categories to keep them organized. Enjoy the label function and it will be very useful when you have hundreds of posts. She contributes to research on your site too.

This is the minimum to start with WordPress. You have to learn much more, but when it does, be glad you made the switch to WordPress. Happy blogging!

If you know a thing or two about blogs, blogging or have been for some time, you’ve probably heard a lot of people talking about WordPress and how great is this blogging platform.

However, regardless of their level as a blogger, WordPress know what is and what are the advantages of free software is amazing and a must if you really want to do sustainable business out of blogs.

WordPress is a blogging platform and open source began in May 2003 by Matt Mullenweg as a holder of b2/cafelog, which has become the first choice for over 200 million bloggers (according to Wikipedia).

But why so many people praise and recommend WordPress? Well, this is what this article is, and here’s why:

1 .- The WordPress blogging software is the most popular in the land, but the important thing here is not that pleasant for many, but the fact that this popularity has generated a flood of development for the software did it was originally designed as a blogging platform in one of the best and most flexible systems for content management.

A WordPress blog can now be much more than a blog and most likely encountered in many incredibly complex websites below it is just a WordPress blog.

WordPress is currently suitable for almost any type of project you can get to, including e-commerce!

2 .- WordPress is free to use, so most of the additional developments (or plugins) released by others, so you can become a great place (and not just a blog) with a professional look and dynamic functions without spending money.

Given its popularity, plugins, addons and all kinds of free resources will go around, so if you have your site using WordPress you can take advantage of developments and continuous improvements at no cost to you.

3 .- WordPress is easy to manage and use once installed, so if it is not much of a coach, no problem, because the minute your platform is installed and configured correctly, you will be able to add content and move their entire place without changing its appearance and professional without having to do any coding or programming oddities.

In fact, 99% of all the functions on your WordPress dashboard can be achieved with just point, click, drag and drop, thus maintaining your site is really a walk in the park, regardless of training.

On the other hand, if WordPress works well with search engines (their main source of free traffic and revenue) and is easily tunable to meet the criteria of relevance of Google.

All this means one simple thing: a great potential for business growth and therefore revenue, because the end result is that WordPress is designed to enable software development blogs like no other.

Let us start by saying that there are only a hand full of Internet Marketers who know how to use wordpress tags the way they should be used. Are you one of those? Or are you the 99% who thinks the search engines can read your mind?

Here’s the deal someone decides they want to make money online. They read one if any ebook to guide them to do this. However instead of them reading the ebook they skim over it and pick up bits and pieces of knowledge. So when they read this telling them that article marketing is the way to make money online. While this may be true they stop there and don’t finish reading the ebook.

Because they didn’t finish reading the ebook they missed the part about how to use keywords or wordpress tags properly. This is a big deal because keywords or wordpress tags are used when indexing your articles with search engines. So if you want to get your article indexed by the search engines then you need to use the proper keywords or wordpress tags.

If you have an article about Affiliate Marketing and you use keywords or wordpress tags that don’t even show up in that article then the search engines will put that article at the bottom of the pile. It don’t matter what your article is about. If you use keywords or tags that don’t show up in the article you want get good placement from the search engines. Oh it does get worse then that if your keyword you chose only shows up one time then your chances of that article finding top position is ZERO.

Make sure that what keywords or wordpress tags you use show up at least 5 times in your article. That is the way you will get better placement for your articles. If ecommerce and Ecommerce is in your article only use one of those not both the search engines see those the same way now if you had ecommerce and e-commerce then the search engine sees that as two different keywords. Are you following Me?

This is the part that most people get trapped in. They think search engines can read their minds. If your article is about keywords and wordpress tags and it mentions search engines that don’t mean your article is about SEO. So don’t put SEO as a keyword in your article just because your article mentions search engines. If it don’t have the keyword at least 5 times in your article DON’T USE IT!

Now we will show you the keywords and wordpress tags that should be used in this article we wrote here. That should give you an idea of how to do the same for yours. The obviouse keywords are “Keywords, WordPress Tags, Search Engines, and Article” and we could possibly use ebook as well. That would make it five times in this whole article.

If you will notice we never used keywords or wordpress tags that never appeared in our article this is the most common mistake made by new Internet Marketers. If its not in your article then don’t use it. We hope that this has shown you the proper use in keywords and tags.

You can search blogs all across the internet and find that many new Internet Marketers posting to blogs and look at the tags and many of the post have tags that don’t show up in the post. That is why this article was written to help you use keywords and wordpress tags correctly.

Until recently it would take from a few minutes to an hour for our latest article to get indexed by all RSS readers like Google Reader. This is because these readers periodically check feed updates. Now it happens instantly!

As you are aware, we use a default Feedburner feed to route our WordPress RSS feed. Feedburner is a Google service and has a setting called Pingshot, which notifies RSS readers of new blog updates. Activate Pingshot and your articles will also start getting instantly updated. here list of ping services :

To effectively sell products or services over the internet you need right tools. It is not enough to set up a website and wait for visitors. And even setting up websites needs some tools and knowledge. In order to succeed you need to know and preferably master few basic and elementary tools.

Google
This is the most important word you should know and remember. Google is currently the number one search engine. You can use it to find answers to your questions or to drive traffic to your websites. Google also offers many free services useful for internet marketing.

Google Webmaster Tools
This is a place where you can track crawling and indexing of your websites. You can submit sitemaps, check top search queries, examine internal and external links, crawling statistics and you can also set up basic settings of the site like geographic target, preferred domain and crawl rate.

Google Analytics
This is another free tool for internet marketers. With few lines of JavaScript code added to the website you can track visitors and pages they visit. Analyzing the data you can see on what page visitors have landed, where they left the site, where they come from, and many other parameters needed to optimize the site.

Google AdWords
This is a pay-per-click program for advertisers. You target specific keywords and the ads will be displayed along search results or on content pages as AdSense ads. You have total control how much money you will spend, where the ads will be displayed, how will they appear, etc.

Google AdSense
This is a pay-per-click program for publishers. If you run a website you can display text and image ads relevant to the content on the page. AdSense is the most popular PPC program for publishers. You can see AdSense ads almost on every website.

Google Alerts
This is a very useful tool which can alert you whenever new pages that match your keywords are indexed. You simply set up target keywords the same way as you do when you search with Google and as soon as Google finds a new page with your keywords you get email notification.

Other Free Resources
There are many free resources on the web which can be used for internet marketing. Free blogs, Web 2.0 sites, and forums can help you to promote your websites.

Web Hosting
You need web hosting to serve web pages to the world. Every serious internet marketer selects one of the respectable and trusted hosting companies.

Keyword Research
This should be the first phase of every online project. There are many tools that specialize in finding those profitable keywords like Micro Niche Finder, Market Samurai as well as other free tools on the web.

WordPress
This is a free content management system commonly used for blogs. It is probably the most widely used CMS for internet marketing.

Joomla
This is another free content management system. It is more universal then WordPress and suitable for any kind of website. If blogging is not on your mind and you need to set up a website as quickly as possible then Joomla might be the solution.

Affiliate Programs
Affiliate Programs are the streams of income for many online marketers. You promote products or services and you get paid whenever you make a sale. Commissions vary from only few percent up to 75% for digital goods.

When you set up a new blog using WordPress you probably do not think you will get a lot of traffic, especially at first. However, of course it is a goal for any site to continually gain popularity and thus obtain more traffic. But, what happens when your site gets a lot of attention and suddenly becomes a high traffic site? Will using WordPress hinder the availability of posts on the site? Will it be able to handle the sheer volume of traffic that may occur once your site becomes extremely popular?

WordPress is designed to handle high traffic. However, as with any site and any software program it is important to optimize your site for maximum efficiency. The more people you have browsing your site, the more you want your site to load quickly so you can expose your posts the most possible viewers. WordPress itself will not be a hindrance to a high traffic blog. However, there may be some issues that will slow your site or make it unavailable.

If you have a web host or if you run a private server to host your site, make sure it is able to handle high traffic. If your site continually gets hit and the server is not able to handle the capacity you may need to be moved to a lower populated server, a dedicated server or move to a network that is better equipped to handle high server loads.

If you have optimized your network and server capacities to handle high traffic and still see some issues, you may want to make a few adjustments to your site to further optimize it for high traffic blogs. The WP-Cache and WP-Super Cache plugins available through WordPress can assist you in loading your pages quickly. If you have a lot of extra bells and whistles on your site you may want to consider simplifying it. Using fewer graphics is one way to get pages to load quicker. You should also only use the necessary plugins to make your pages run efficiently. If you have a lot of extra plugins that are not necessary, remove them so they are not called when the page is loaded.

WordPress is designed to handle heavy traffic blogs. However, the WordPress software is not the only consideration. You need to make sure your site is optimized to load as quickly as possible by reducing or eliminating unnecessary graphics and plugins. You should also use optimization tools available through WordPress. Ensure your web host and network can handle the traffic capacity you are experiencing or change providers. If you ensure all these steps are adhered to, your heavy traffic WordPress blog will work quickly and efficiently.

As we know that deafult administrator user for WP (WordPress) is admin. if you haven’t change it. really this is high risk for your worpdress security. it caused if some one want to gain or trying hack to your blog (log in WordPress administrator), all he need to do is Just keep user as admin and he will use a bunch passwords combinations. Its ussually called as Brute access, really that this method by using automatic tools work quite often.

So, How to Prevent it..? It easy, if you already have wordpress installed, Just Create a user and set as administrator. after created, now log in as new user that created and delete “admin” at user menu. If you have many posts written as that user (admin user), WordPress Will ask to you “Delete them or you will assign them to new user”, you should chose assign as new user if you want them exist.

Its enough ?? NO!!! The last is make sure that new user have created as admin not similar with name that will dispaly as publicly at your WordPress blog. for the example your posts set as Torres, for instance, you should naming the administrators user as Helmet or blogist. I very recommend to you to create it with something that others won’t be able to guess easily.

Here is a brief summary should be encouraged to brave testers. I add that the object cache supports WP Super Cache, so you save back in the position you cache files in a memcached instead of the hard disk.
It is not complete, but it is running on this blog, and read, which means that something does not break! If you want to get the development version of the download page.
There are some reservations, but three in mind:

There will not cache anything with “known” users. Users who are logged in, or comments. In general, a small minority of visitors to each site.

Update the cache is very deficient. If you leave a comment, so the cache of this page may not be updated immediately. The cache lifetime is set to 30 seconds, and when you leave a note to a “known users” and see Uncached version of the page anyway.

If items are updated in the cache is invalid.

If you do not know what memcached, or how to sign, then you certainly do not want to test them. If you do this, use Google, and about her. Unfortunately I have no time to explain how to install.

Inspiration and a code of batcache made the excellent caching plugin, we use at WordPress.com
