However, of course it is a goal for any site to continually gain popularity and thus obtain more traffic. But, what happens when your site gets a lot of attention and suddenly becomes a high traffic site? Will using WordPress hinder the availability of posts on the site? Will it be able to handle the sheer volume of traffic that may occur once your site becomes extremely popular?
WordPress is designed to handle high traffic. However, as with any site and any software program it is important to optimize your site for maximum efficiency. The more people you have browsing your site, the more you want your site to load quickly so you can expose your posts the most possible viewers. Posted by admin in : Tips, Wordpress , add a commentAs we know that deafult administrator user for WP (WordPress) is admin. if you haven’t change it. really this is high risk for your worpdress security. it caused if some one want to gain or trying hack to your blog (log in WordPress administrator), all he need to do is Just keep user as admin and he will use a bunch passwords combinations. Its ussually called as Brute access, really that this method by using automatic tools work quite often.
So, How to Prevent it..? It easy, if you already have wordpress installed, Just Create a user and set as administrator. after created, now log in as new user that created and delete “admin” at user menu. If you have many posts written as that user (admin user), WordPress Will ask to you “Delete them or you will assign them to new user”, you should chose assign as new user if you want them exist.
