How to Creating Content With Website Optimization
Google loves to see you use website optimization, especially when it comes to building your content. Taking certain steps to ensure that your site is search engine friendly will enable the SEs to provide a better experience for their users.
If you are not familiar with optimization, it involves making sure that the appropriate keywords are used throughout your site. You must be careful not to overdo it, however, or your site could get banned or sandboxed. If this happens, it can take months to get out, if you even can. Some sites never do recover. Owners have to start over with an entirely new domain.
You can avoid having this happen to you by knowing and applying these few simple rules.
1. Make sure the keywords are highly relevant to your site. The more targeted your keyword phrases are, the better. It means that your site will be one of the first ones that pops up when someone searches for those phrases.
2. Limit the use of your keywords so that you meet Google’s preferences. If you overload your site with keywords, you will be seen as spamming. Many web site content creators make this crucial error. In their efforts to attract attention, they end up doing the exact opposite.
3. Use your keywords appropriately. In other words, think about your visitors. They will be quickly turned off if your web page is so full of your keyword phrases that it overwhelms them. The SEs strive to give their users the most relevant content. If you ignore that, your site will suffer in several ways: low page rank and dissatisfied customers.
4. Stick to one or two keyword phrases per web page. Scatter them throughout your articles in a natural way. In a 500-word article, use your keyword in your title, in the first paragraph, in the last paragraph and once more somewhere in the middle. In longer articles of 800-1000 or more you can use your keyword more often. The average is to use your keyword no more than 3 times in a 500 word article.
5. Do not try to hide your keywords by changing the font color to match the background. This is an old trick used by marketers some years ago, but it doesn’t work anymore. Those hidden keywords are spotted and you will appear to be keyword spamming.
Writing content for website optimization is not easy for some people, but if you keep these 5 points in mind, you will avoid the problems associated with keyword spamming.
